7. Since the 1930’s aircraft manufacturers have tried to build airplanes with frictionless wings, shaped so smoothly and perfectly that the air passing over them would not become turbulent.
(A) wings, shaped so smoothly and perfectly
(B) wings, wings so smooth and so perfectly shaped
(C) wings that are shaped so smooth and perfect
(D) wings, shaped in such a smooth and perfect manner
(E) wings, wings having been shaped smoothly and perfectly so

Answer B.
I think it should be C.
"He made his art work so beatufiul" rather than
"He made his art work so beatufiully"
So "smooth" and "perfect" are to qualify "wings", rather than "shape"

Any opinions? thanks!

我觉得有2个原因：
1、这里用smoothly和perfetly修饰SHAPED是没有错的，反而wings are shaped so smooth and perfect that是有问题的，除非改成，Smooth and perfect，wings are shaped by....

2、同时对C的时态也表示怀疑，因为看未划线部分Since the 1930’s aircraft manufacturers [have tried] to build airplanes with frictionless wings, shaped so smoothly and perfectly that the air passing over them [would not become] turbulent。后半部分这明显是个虚拟语气，即还没有实现的梦想，所以那个are 感觉上是有问题的。而A回避了这个问题。

smooth 本身是形容词啊，而perfectly是作为副词修饰shaped这个形容词的吧？
如果是C，可能逻辑意思不是很顺。机翼被打造的如此smooth and perfect,但是如果smooth 是褒义词，perfect肯定是包括smooth的，这样并列smooth和perfect就不好了。
胡说八道，希望不要招来骂声一片。

I meant :
(C) wings that are shaped so smooth and perfect
1.shaped so smoothly and perfectly is correct, but shaped so smooth and perfect is not.
2. ' that' refers to airplans or wings ? it is ambguous.

B) wings, wings so smooth and so perfectly shaped
B doesn't have this problem. smooth modifies wings and perfectly modifies shaped.

首先过去分词前面加逗号是可以做定语的，其次smooth本身就有副词意思，再次着了不选A （我开始也选的是A）是从逻辑上说的，我们可以说翅膀光滑（adj）但我们不能像A 中所说光滑地成形，但我们可以说完美地成形。

我觉得应该是: wings, wings (which is) so smooth and (which is) so perfectly shaped

在这里,smooth是形容词.

另外,选项a中,有修饰飞机的嫌疑.

我的理解是：

选项B：smooth wings and perfectly shaped wings

选项C：smooth and perfectly shaped wings

前者smooth直接修饰wings，后者smooth直接修饰shaped，因此至少应该用smoothly

since 1930就可以,当时间状语.
since不一定都是引导从句的.

我记得XDF老师的解释是
smooth修饰wings
而perfectly修饰shaped
因为shaped没法说是smoothly shaped。。只能说机翼是smooth的

我看到题明知有这考点依旧还是做错了。。
