If industrial pollution continues to deplete the ozone layer, the resulting increase in ultraviolet radiation will endanger human health, causing a rise in the incidence of skin cancer and eye disease, and perhaps even threatening global ecological systems.

(A) and perhaps even threatening

(B) and may even threaten

(D) as well as possibly threatening（B）

(E) as well as a possible threat to

這題好像看似很容易的平行問題! 但我卻在A跟B掙扎好久.....最好選到了A......請問該如何選擇A跟B呢??? 求求nn們來幫忙!

显然不能选A，因为causing现在分词修饰的是 endanger human health。而

threatening global ecological应该是连在 the resulting increase perhaps even threaten global.. 也就是 and may even threaten

所以您是說threaten是跟endanger平行囉？不能跟causing~是嗎？可是我的理解是will endanger...., causing...., and threatening是屬於分詞代替連接詞的平行模式～～這是我們台灣這兒的老師教的！例如：原本是～V1 and V2 可以改成 ving1, ving2(去掉and改成分詞加逗號）若原本是V1 (and) V2 ,and V3時～就可以改成　V1, ving2, and ving3 所以我這題著實做不出來！　請問平行是要靠句意判斷嗎？？　能再多討論討論嗎！　謝謝

这题的句意是这样的，如果用threatening，表明它修饰endanger human health. 实际上threatening与endanger human health没有关系。它说的是the resulting increase in ultraviolet radiation will threaten，与will endanger平行，所以答案是B
