标题: 模考1一道语法题

The computer company has announced that it will purchase the color-printing division of a rival company for $950 (million, which is part of a deal that will make) it the largest manufacturer in the office color-printing market.

B, million, a part of a deal that makes

c,million, part of a deal making

D,million as a ppart of deal to make

E,million as part of a deal that will make

答案是E.我想问一下如果把B改成million, a part of a deal that will make算不算对?就是用这个逗号不用as可不可以?另外想问一下as在这里到底做什么? purchase ...as....???

mm的问题不是太简单, 因该是太高深了吧! 哈哈

E: as part of a deal 是状语, 修饰动词purchase的. Purchase只是deal的一部分. 公司内部一大堆的事, 比如debt settlement, employee handover, etc. 还有背后还有一大堆的烂事, 比如SEC filing, FCC approving, Closing等等. Merger&Acquisition是MBA要学的课.

B: 你那样改的话, a part of a deal是同位语, 只能修饰名词$950M啦. $950M不能是a part of the deal. $950M purchase才能是a part of the deal.

谢谢GG解释的真好,这样明白了.我在这个模考里面错了太多道题了. 尤其是那种逗号后面再来一个名词,这个名词使用that修饰还是直接加分词我老错.我感觉我越错它出现的次数越多.敢情它还有记录的呢.

解释得很好。尤其是对同位语的辨别方面，能从句意上去解，此法，可称得上是所向披靡呀～～这位弟兄对GMAT钻研得比较透彻，看来是已经花了不少功夫了，佩服佩服。。。
