标题: 求教：关于LBS、city和LSE的Marster in Finance比较

背景：国内四大商行6年工作经验，毕业后打算回国工作，跳槽去外资。

请教：如果同时拿到了LBS和city的master in finance的offer，以及LSE MSc accounting and finance的offer，该如何进行选择。

请对上述三所大学了解的大侠不吝赐教，多谢！！

另外，在city和warwick之间应该如何取舍呢？

有钱就读LBS，

LSE绝对比CITY好！

不考虑钱的问题的话，毫无疑问是LBS，

个人认为city明显比LBS以及LSE低一个档次

偶也在做跟xt14同样的比较来着，目前如果读LBS，还需要管HSBC借钱GBP 10k 左右。不过毕业以后一定可以在英国工作，因为偶过去拿的是移民签证，LBS的校友或者过来人们觉得申请HSBC LOAN有戏莫？要是没戏，只有LSE, CITY地干活了

讲老实话，偶不太想去LSE，因为偶组里有同事就是LSE 的金融毕业的，干得活跟我一样，薪水因为资历的原因，拿得还不如我多，让我多少对LSE有点惧怕

LBS MiF's starting positions are associates in Ibanks or assets management companies/PE house. Some experienced MiF can even start from VP. Average LBS MiF have 6 years experience, and many of them used to work in top ibanks, assets management or strategic consulting firms.

Most students can get loans from HSBC, but it's not guaranteed. GBP10K is not a big amount. It's possible less than 2 months salary after graduation.

Agree. LBS is way better than any other b-schools in UK, in terms of student quality and placement records. Just take a look at the placement report of each school. Only LBS has such a detailed format and remarkable data that are comparable to US top 10. Other schools just have very limited information which is of little use in judging the placement success. The reason for them to do so is too simple

xt141, most Chinese MiF work in London or HK after graduation with starting pay similar to LBS average. Some choose to go back to Shanghai /Beijing and mainly joined IB/JV Ibanks/assets management companies or strategic consulting firm. All depends on your own situation. Normally strategic consulting and global ibanks provide global pay. JV financial institutions offer lower pay. There are also many opportunities in industrial companies, but very few MiF selected such companies.

Some MiF work in state owned banks/regulatory institutions if they got scholarship that required them to continue to work in such sectors.

据信，2005年MiF毕业生的entry pay是60K 英镑，如果是中国学生，有这么乐观吗？

- if you can find an IB job in london, the pay is quite standard. if you find a job in smaller assets/research management, then the pay can be lower, ￡50-55K. probably chinese mif's starting pay is below LBS average. As far as I know. most students can find a job in london if they want unless they are very specific as to what they want to do (e.g. industry and function). If you think entry into finance industry in London is more important, then just get a job and find opportunity to find a better job later.

HSBC loan: many in my class got the loan, but i heard sometimes mba failed to get the loan.

真是FAINT，学费的事情已经够折磨人的了……

最新消息：LBS的服务真是好的没话说，主动来信说给我重新寄一遍，因为他们已经收到英国DHL的电话，说中国这边把pack misplaced了。

伦敦商学院的金融硕士的面试通知来了，本人非金融专业出身，也没有金融相关工作经验，请教大家一些金融硕士面试会被问到的问题，想临阵磨枪，虽然不抱希望，可也不想死的太难看，如果面试十分钟就被赶出来，那我来回香港的路费也冤枉啊。谢谢啦！！！拜托拜托！

No technical questions at all. It mainly focuses on your soft skills. School just wants to see whether you will participate to class discussion, how would you perform in the future job interveiws. Qustions are pretty common, such as self-introduction, why mif, your career goal, your career path, why do you switch your jobs, teamwork etc. Good luck.

多谢陶粒mm的鼓励！看到cd上已经n多人拿到offer了，没统计，不过感觉10个也有了啊，何况不是拿到offer的都来cd报到啊，所以在中国区的招生名额应该都满了呢，怎么还在不停面试。
