标题: A suggestion regarding PhD application

Well, seems most of the applicants for PhD are in desperate. No matter what result would turn out to us, it is better to do something useful, for us and for those guys behind us, than to simply wait in vain.

Actually, from time to time, I am considering to create a profile of those schools which offer PhD degree. We can add whatever application - related information on the profile for each individual school, for example, rolling process or process after deadline. interview or not, accepting non-US degree or not (esp. for Acc, just knew such a pattern), favor Chinese students or not, ... Obviously, it would be better if someone already in these schools can contribute two cents.

I have considered to create a common ID and have the password open so that everyone can edit the thread. However, I think, it might be bit difficult to locate a school on the thread.

Any suggestions?

I meant to collect the application-related information, not the admission result.
