I appreciate your interest in our doctoral program. Your record is quite strong. Unfortunately, we have many excellent applications and their interests also fit the research of our faculty better. therefore, I regret that you did not make it to the short list.

昨晚，I email to the chairman of phd program committee问申请的事，今早受到她的email回信.

申请商学院的牛人确实很多，是不是申请商学院排名80或100名以后的把握大点？

I was told anne tsui is going to recruit a master student in guanghua. Not sure this year or next year. Good luck, though.

i do not think that students from Guanghua are competitive in Accounting PhD application.

好消息。中国学生申请微观方向不容易的。。。偶们系的历史上好像从来没有招过一个中国学生读微观。。。

希望Anne Tsui她们进一步壮大

I am not an applicant yet, and just someone told me that this guy just wanted the reference letter from anne tsui, rather than being a student of her. BTW, I cannot guarantee the authentication of this news.

Few students have enough competition to win an acceptance from b-school phd programs, including guanghua. So, just case by case.

Anne regularly gives lectures at GSM and HKUST, so it's not a big deal to get her ROL. But management is rather difficult to apply.
