接到interview的电邮了，过来人可不可以分享一些经验呢？这是第一次被面试，不知该从何开始准备。谢谢！

I just went through an interview with an alumna in Beijing. It was more relaxed than I had expected.

It took about an hour in a Starbucks coffe.My interviewer was definitely prepared

and had experience in interviewing quite a few prospective students.

She asked specifically about my career path(e.g why I changed this job and how switched into another one), goals and daily work.No tough questions except one related with my long-term goal...In the end, I was given the chance to ask a few questions on the school.All in English.

My suggestion is to review your resume and p.s. in advance.Relax and remeber to promote yourself

I had the interview at Tokyo, as Sinopolish mentioned, the interview was pretty relax and easiler than I expected.

My interview was conducted at interviewer's office. He first asked me to introduce myself, then asked couple of questions regarding my short term/long term career plan and how MiF can help me to realize my career goal. He also asked the reasons for job changing, and the some specific questions tailored to my background. At the end, he asked about teamwork, experience of working with a diversified team. Other than those standard questions, the interview was more like chating with a friend.

我听说在第一轮LBS的面试中有一个现场抽签做presentation的题，不知道第二轮的校友面试会不会还保留这个内容。

呵呵，男女都看出来了，厉害呀。mock interview很有用，建议至少做1-2次。

sinopolish gg，再问一个问题，你接到LBS告诉你要面试，他们会联系一个校友的email 到他们告诉你那个校友是谁，他/她的联系方法是什么，中间隔了多久啊？

我上周三接到LBS给我的email之后，他们就再也没有联系我了。

我是两周前接的初始通知，到提供PBOC校友联系方式中间隔了一天。

既然被short-list，面试就是早晚的事情，应该没问题。

回复快慢也许与校友安排也有关系--如果能面试的人少就只能耐心等待了。据我的

面试人说01年时是一个从俄罗斯飞来的美国校友给京沪两地的申请人面的

面完了，面试人很了解我哦，问的问题全是跟简历相关的，而且因为是校友，连我的课程结构都知道。

感觉还不错，面试者说是一个星期以后LBS应该会给结果。

从大陆招得满多的吗。看来有戏，本来看到论坛上大家都陆续拿到LBS的OFFER，已经心急如焚了，无奈自己材料递得晚。

I've re-posted my interview questions below.

My interview lasted about 1 hour.It was friendly and conversational.

Most questions were based on the application package.

The interviewer should be familiar with your profile.

With a non-finance background, be prepared for questions on

your motivation to pursue a finance career/degree.

Good luck!

There are 3 types of questions:

1.Career progress

Why did you choose your first job? Why did you change jobs?

How did you cope with knowledge/skills gap in switching career?

Compare yourself with senior staff at your company?

2.Motivation of study

Career goals/Why LBS? Why a specialised programme as opposed to a general MBA.....

3.Soft skills

your contributions to a team/typical work day....

Finally,and questions you would like to ask him/her...

顺便把我的面经好好整理了一下，贴出来共享吧

我的问题基本上是跟我CV相关的，所以一定要把你的CV和LBS的申请材料看熟，我的面试基本上围绕我的CV和申请材料展开，其他比较general的问题基本上一带而过。

1.why LBS， why MiF (只让我说了一两句）

2.对于MiF的贡献（对于具体贡献，因为申请材料上写了，所以她就让我说了一两句，但是之后围绕我的回答问了很多问题）

3.学过计量经济学吗？（因为我大学成绩单上没有这门课，然后面试者建议我好好看看，因为入学考试要考，考不过要交几百胖上课学的）

4.如果拿不到HSBC的贷款，我还能去LBS吗？（这个问题纠缠的比较多）

5.如果毕业以后一时在伦敦找不到我理想的工作，我会怎么打算？（这个也跟我纠缠半天）
