og29 new question：for the building 一般来说for doing不能表示目的，那么这里有个the 说明building这里是建筑物这个名词吧？

这里the building应该是只建主物这个名词

问一下LZ, 你说for doing 不能表目地,是在哪里看到的?

那是因为有比他更好的,比如TO DO

在《牛津实用英语语法》中对这个问题这么描述的:

FOR DOING短语在某些时候也可以当作是动作发出者的目的

但是却没有例子,SORRY

还是请NN来定夺吧!

我觉得连the building of 都不算顺眼

可是看下来只能选Ａ了，一种表达可能不是最好，但在这里却是最好的。effectiveness是不是也有这个意思呢？
