我印象中,状语放在谓语动词后没什么问题呀,(CONFRONTED),为什么说 AWKARDLY??谢谢各位NN!

at once改变了位置，修饰对象引起歧义，即使不歧义也笨拙。

修饰成分改变位置的大前提就是不能改变修饰对象也不能引起歧义！

B里结构上修饰前者，逻辑上修饰后者

C里，结构上前后都能修饰
