正确的应该是as a result of combustion，我在A和B中选，不知哪个好？

在不同选项中出现名词和动词的时候，你的第一个反映就是用动词还是用名词（好象是废话）。也就是说句子是在强调动作、过程、并发性还是在强调结果、状态、静态性。这题，强调的是燃烧的结果，不是燃烧的过程和动作，造成了.......

GG，

我的疑问是强调结果应该是as a result of combustion,not result from combustion.表示动作应该是result from burning .

这题中，A和B把两者结合在一起了，我就不知该如何选择。

似乎没有这样的区别，区别是：
as a result of 是结果，导致
result from是源自于，来自于
没有和动词的关系。

那就是说不用考虑动放词:as a result of or result from

只要考虑combustion （表结果）, burning（表动作），对吗？

另外，我查了一下LZM，说到：as a result of 一般是用于修饰整个句子，而不是修饰一个名词一。修饰一个名词的只能用resulting from ，不知这种解释是否可行？

D. determined by is correct idiom. plus, the Earth and the other solid planets spin + The direction was, D is therefore the best.
'as a result of' is redundant here is because of ' determined by' .我也不排斥用' as a result of' . it is not alway awkward. . for exemple: the Earth and the other solid planets spin is a result of A collisions with B.

这道题另外一个考虑是：A中burning的逻辑主语不清。一般现在分词都可以在句子中找到逻辑主语，而且一般和主句的主语一致
