答案是C,感觉也是C正确，可是仔细分析，好像又觉得不对，这句话主语是the number, 宾语是那一堆数字，怎么可以用area做同位语呢？不解

又，the number of acres 可以說是 an area.

4.詭計，citrus是單數.

我的理解：citrus是不可数名词，文中又是泛指，所以没有the

比如说泛指的水如何，没有说the water的

但OG 中, 明明说了 but the plural pronouns them and they do not agree with the singular noun citrus.

泛指倒是可以接受

S05-04为OG4；ETS的解释是citrus 是单数，E also expresses the cause-and-effect relationship between the return of warmer weather and the rotting of the fruit; A, C, and D merely describe these events as contemporaneous.

我觉得在citrus的复数形式包括citrus和citruses两种的情况下，ETS的解释还是比较牵强的。算一道流氓题吧

...查了词典 citrus的复数形式可以是citruses 也可以就是citrus啊.
所以这一题没道理用单复数来衡量it还是they的.

这一题我觉得只能从逻辑上考虑回暖和腐烂是有先后关系,或者说因果关系的.所以E的表达比较清楚. 而A则可能是因为别的问题腐烂只是时间上是回暖的时候. 不晓得是不是好点. 是不是ETS把这一题删了,从OG中?
