第一句话是fact .第二句是conclusion. 第三句是support conclusion.

没必要分析各个句子的作用，看懂整句意思即可。

其实我的问题就是答案中 that are absent from other types of societies. weaken 了原文的哪句话！
是怎样weaken的。

这里要区别的是“forager societies ”与“other types of societies”，
也就是说一些“forager societies “特有的特点（不与“other types of societies共享）存在于“forager societies 整个阶段（无论是ancient还是 modern），换句话话说，研究现在是可以了解过去的。

最后一句为了说明:现在的FORAGERS已经受到了现在其它SOCIETIES的影响,已经不具有FORAGERS的特性了,因此现在的研究也就找不到古代FORAGERS的特性了

B is strengthening because "make a transition to other way of life" might means get involved with "nonforager societies" as stated in the reasoning sentence. but just simply ignore it.

that are absent from other types of societies表示某些特征是forager society 独有的，在别的society都absent。所以，研究现在的forager society 也就研究了古代的forager society
