我选择B。

对于A我的疑惑是language areas overlap in a young child.是不是缺少一个and？不然，Whereas，前面是个主句，whereas接着引导一个从句，那么后面那个句子language areas overlap in a young child在全句中作什么成分呢？

我对语法这东西从来就是糊里糊涂的。B whereas就应该引导的一个从句吧，后面是主句。我第一次作的时候这么考虑的，成人和孩子之间不可能是and的并列关系，要有也得是个but或者yet什么的吧？
