答案是B 我的问题是ENTITLE 为什么不是be entitled to ?我就根据 BE ENTITLED TO 选了E

8. 'persuading ....' works as adverbial modifier 结果状语 of the foregoing sentence. In B, what does 'persuasion of people' mean?

12. I think 'in which' is better. WHERE often represents a material place which can be caculated. But 'in which' can refer to a nonfigurative procedure. My own opinion.

8. I think "persuading..." is a present participle clause fucntioning as the subject of the sentense. The persuasion of people has an unclear meaning.

Probably "persuading" can be used as a subject. But B still sounds a little strange. Why E is not the choice. I think E carry the intended meaning. 虽然是被动语态.

从字典上看，entitle一般应该用被动，而且recoup(for)是可以的

有同感。我的理解：从逻辑，句意上，应该是the effects of persuading, 而不是persuading people to...这个动作本身，restore the market equilirum。

不理解，我的意思是说：选E可能更合适些。我也不同意用the persuasion of。。。
因为，E用了一个主从复合句，使得句意更完整，更合逻辑（尽管是被动态）。

persuading sb to do sth 劝某人做某事,某人是被劝的对象
persuasion of sb to do sth 某人劝做某事，某人是劝这个行为的执行者

终于搞明白了，to eat former horse feed概念混乱，这是不能选E的关键原因。

金山词霸上的一个例子：

The owner of that shop is Mr Brown — the former owner was Mr Johnson.
那家商店的主人是布朗先生，以前的店主是约翰逊先生。

我觉得E的former使用得很恰当，B反而wordy。

E的字面意思：当人们被劝服吃以前的马饲料的时候，市场平衡重新建立起来。

E正确吧; B的persuading的逻辑主语是谁，句子中的对象都不准确，所以要用被动语态；B wordy，能用形容词说清楚地，为什么用定语从句呢？
