我觉得也是选A，

B：new Mexico site where fist discovered不对，spear points of longitudinal grooves chipped onto their faces原本是从属部分，现在变成主干与后面并列也不妥当

C似乎没有原句的逻辑关系

D好像根本不是一句完整的句子

E中whose.....onto them没有with....简洁，而且逻辑关系也不对，愿意是虽然到处都有，但只以此地命名，现在两者却被并列了

不知道分析的对不对，期待大家更清楚完整的解释

BDE很容易排除。

答案应当是C

A不好。因为A的主句部分的主语不清晰。

至少在C项中没有不清晰的部分

C 应该不正确。

我认为C　最大的错误在于　● Named for the new Mexico site where they have been first discovered in 1932, Clovis points, spear points of longitudinal grooves chipped onto the faces, have been found all over north America .

引起face指grooves的歧义，原文是指　spear points 的表面(faces)有grooves.
