From B :
1) "a tripling" is not correct, triple is usually used as a verb but not a noun
2) " due to the replacement of charcoal by coal for the fuel used in the smelting of iron ore, in addition to several improvements in blowing machinery " 在這句中 : "the replace..." 應和 "several improvement ..." 同位...

- analysts, who predicted

B- a single ancestor’s who was thought to live --ancestor's who错
C- a single ancestor whom it is thought had lived -- it无理
D- the Y chromosome of a single ancestor who is thought to have lived
E- the Y chromosome of a single ancestor whom it was thought had lived --it 无理
不可以这样理解么?it was thought whom had lived about 140,000 years ago---->it是形式主语?

不可以这样理解么?it was thought whom had lived about 140,000 years ago---->it是形式主语?
