    我不是牛牛 但愿意说说我的理解 请指教

    1.growth 一般不说exceed吧

    2.C中that which太繁且指代不清而且前边exceeds后边had been显然不对啊

    3.最重要的是原句强调the economy与先前的economy比，而C说the growth与that which所指代的比 ,不平行.另外 把between 1990 and 2000 放在主语后，主谓离太远 一般不这样说

    总之，C结构混乱，话也没说利落,太别扭 远没有A简洁明了

    偶认为该题应该选B.


    因为


        A.more than 形容词只能修饰ADV,而此处修饰VERB了.


        C.时态大错了,指代也显得AWKWARD.


        D.时态大错了,WHAT指代无物.


        E.WHAT指代无物.

    虽然当时选B,不过现在来看B的错误是:the growth 不能用is more than,除非是the growth rate

    唉!我认为这题虽然看谁都不顺,不过只有矮子中拔高个了.


    应该是B.如果是GROWTH RATE的话,后面应该用HIGHER OR GREATER THAN来修饰了.

    还是应该选A吧。


    B的from when 的用法不对，from是介词，后面应该是名词。


    C,D的时态不对。


    E的比较逻辑意思不对，it指代了the growth，did替换回来是exceed，逻辑意思不对。

    from when的用法是很普遍的,google一下就有好多.

    很同意maggiecookies讲的,好像只有A最好.

    from when的用法是对的，when可以引导一个名词性从句，因此可以放在借此后面，举例：

    when I will go abroat for MBA study is determined by what score I can get in the recent GMAT test.

    我选B

    A/D/E, it错，这里用it指代the global economy/the global ecomomy growth，表示两个相同的the global economy/the global ecomomy growth，不符合句意（1990-2000的the global economy和the beginning of agriculture-1950的the global economy应该是两个不同的the global economy），应该用that指代。

    C awkward
