it一般用于特指,在这里it实际需要指的并不是单个的名词而是to establish a
permanent colony in America这件事情,而it的功能只能指代某个具体名词.

用did so是可以代表这件事情的.

不知道有没有说清楚呢???

Just do it 错，Just do so，记得lily说一定是do so，do it是错的
