9. Astronauts who experience weightlessness frequently get motion sickness. The astronauts see their own motion relative to passing objects, but while the astronauts are weightless their inner ears indicate that their bodies are not moving. The astronauts’ experience is best explained by the hypothesis that conflicting inFORMation received by the brain about the body’s motion causes motion sickness. Which one of the following, if true, provides the strongest additional support for the hypothesis above?
(A) During rough voyages ship passengers in cabins providing a view of the water are less likely to get motion sickness than are passengers in cabins providing no view.
(B) Many people who are experienced airplane passengers occasionally get motion sickness.
(C) Some automobile passengers whose inner ears indicate that they are moving and who have a clear view of the objects they are passing get motion sickness.
(D) People who have aisle seats in trains or airplanes are as likely to get motion sickness as are people who have window seats.
(E) Some astronauts do not get motion sickness even after being in orbit for several days.

答案是选A
可是我看提干中明明说的是，当view很confict的时候，才回有sickness
A中是说，能看见的water 的view反而好
为什么啊

看得见水，就知道自己处于运动中，眼睛给大脑的information和内耳告诉大脑的information就不会conflict。如果看不见水，眼睛告诉大脑，自己处于静止之中，内耳告诉大脑，自己处于运动之中，information就conflict了。所以A是正确答案啊

我觉得D也应该对啊，靠走道的乘客比靠窗的乘客更容易得病就是因为接受了矛盾的信息：火车或者飞机在动，靠走道的乘客无法看到窗外，则眼睛得到的信息：自己处于静止之中，内耳告诉大脑，自己处于运动之中。

D表明的是过道和窗口乘客一样有可能得病，其实应该是不一样的，所以错误

谁帮忙解释一下，二楼的“内耳告诉大脑，自己处于运动之中”这个是怎么得来的啊？题目中没说内耳是怎么传递信息的啊，不会要我们用生理卫生知识吧，那也太不负责了，没学过哎

说明内耳告诉你，你没有运动，所以你就觉的你没有运动

这和具体的内耳怎么告诉你的具体生理过程没有关系，也没必要知道

从这里只要知道，是人失重的时候和以前不失重的时候根据参照物进行判断的情况不同The astronauts see their own motion relative to passing objects，因为那是受passing objects也是不动的，所以就觉的是不运动的

但是如果如A所说你看到了水流，当然比之没有看到运动的东西的人来说，你更加不可能得病。

但是坐船的时候，我们怎么知道内耳告诉我们什么呢

这道题困惑的关键是：在我们坐车或者坐船时，内耳告诉我们静止还是运动？
我觉得应该是静止，因为这和astronauts在太空时一样的，人自身没有运动，而是相对运动，所以内耳告诉我们是静止的。

但是如果我们坐车或者坐船时，内耳告诉我们静止，那这道题就不对了。

请问nn我的理解错了吗？

这个问题问得非常好！其实我们确实无法从原文中的信息判断出坐船的时候内耳给出的信息到底是“运动”还是“静止”的。2楼的做法存在这个问题，估计是加入了自己的主观判断。

这个题目只能用排除法做，B,C,D,E都没有提到conflict,所以明显错。则只有A有对的可能，所以选A

这时由A可以推出内耳给出的信息是“运动”，但此时也没有推理的必要了。。。

查的 motion sickness 的定义，这题就迎刃而解了

montion sickness: Sickness caused by contradiction between external data from the eyes and internal cues from the balance centre in the inner ear.

只要眼睛看到的和脑袋（也就是inner ears）认为的不一致，就会得motion sickness

rough 表示很颠簸，inner ears认为在动，而眼睛又没有看到在动（cabins providing no view），所以造成 motion sickness

楼上的解释似乎有道理，longman中关于rough的解释：
9.▶NOT COMFORTABLE◀
uncomfortable, and with difficult conditions
The journey was long and rough.

既然说not confortable, it is clearly that the inner system can sense the motion.
So there is a conflication.
