Finance PhD收到Rochester和LSE的正式offer，UNC面试时候的口头offer，HEC在WL里，求UU们建议呀！

都这个level的选校了，看你具体的research interest。是我我会先把Rochester去掉，老牌强校，近几年有点flop。

这是属于芝加哥booth级别的placement了，这么看的话，LSE很强。选LSE把。

lse虽然很强，可是每年招太多学生了，就业竞争压力会很大

LSE去到University of Colorado属于正常placement，哪有什么booth级别。。。

以前听说过他们qualify比较难，还没注意这个点，看了一眼确实有点多。这么说感觉在UNC和HEC中间选吧，两边教授都有过一些接触，感觉都很nice。

话说LSE和UNC的人数差得远吗，官网上的Job market candidates LSE有5个人，UNC是4个人，HEC倒少点只有俩，但我还在WL上没拿到offer

LSE的brand name肯定是好的，平均当然也不错，就看你自己想怎么选了。反正这四个学校brand name都有的，就算是个lemon毕业，也不至于太差。你在论坛上问，我们只能provide一些general view as内部竞争小一点的项目可能会待得舒服点。但是比如LSE有你很想跟着的大牛啊，有其他connection啊，个人研究方向 etc 这种很personal的information，你自己也需要考虑。

我意思是芝加哥的就业也就和这个差不多，Colorado有个教授就是芝加哥毕业的。这么看来LSE就业很强很强，比肩美国TOP 10的就业情况了。

Exactly. Remember, LSE is a Tier One school in our Placement Ranking.

As rightly pointed out, the LSE program would need to scale back on enrollment. A big program is not conducive to collegiality, one reason for which is that students perceive each other more as competitors than as colleagues or research collaborators. The HEC Paris program is commendable for being consistently small.

Sorry I mixed up LSE with LBS. The latter is a cut above the former, of course.
