3. A 错选 D 重点判断 live in cypress, wholly dependent on, their coloring三者的关系 - 应该是平行，所以形式应该一致；此外所有选项的比较部分都是coloring 去比，因此被比较部分也应该是coloring，所以只有BD符合
在D中，前两个成分都是在第一个that引导的从句中并列，但whose等于是新开了一个从句，直接和 that 并列，和句意不符合
5. A 错选 C 首先分析句子的核心：intake of E increase the risk
B - 句子中缺少 in exceed of that found 中 that 的指代对象，exceed的宾语应该是一个数量类的词，但前文中没有
C - 基本同B，taken in excess of a diet，exceed 的宾语应该是数量，而不是diet

这个问题完全取决于现在时与完成时不定式的使用。Since people are known to have done something previously (rekindle their faith)，我们就不能像选择A那样使用现在时。选择B表明，rekindling 是过去会发生的事情。所以，不管我们对选择B有什么意义上的问题，它不像A那样有时态问题，是正确答案。
