【Job Responsibilities】
Assistant Professor of Marketing, Dr. Xin Chen from Singapore Management University is providing a research opportunity for ambitious and talented masters/undergraduates with strong data/programming/statistics skills to join her research team. Xin has mentored several undergraduates and master's since her Ph.D. years at Berkeley-Haas. Many past mentees have moved on to pursue a Ph.D or Master's at top business schools in quantitative marketing (e.g., Upenn-Wharton, Berkeley-Haas) or in other related fields, such as data science or statistics (e.g., Stanford), or leading tech firms (e.g., Facebook) after their apprenticeships. The RA must be fluent in mandarin Chinese and at least one programming language of R or Python. The RA will work on real e-commerce A/B testing and observational data and study social media marketing using state-of-the-art causal inference and machine learning techniques. Pay will be performance-based and commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experiences. The engagement will offer a glimpse into a data science/quantitative marketing career.
【Start Time】
Ideally, the candidate will start full-time in early Aug 2022, for a minimum of 4 months. Alternative start dates will also be considered.
