Title: Full-time (or Part-time) Research Assistant
Report to: Center for Exploring the Psychology of Innovation and Creativity (EPIC Center)
School of Entrepreneurship and Management, ShanghaiTech University
Location: #1 Zhongke Road, Pudong, Shanghai, 201210, China
(300 meters from Shanghai Metro Line 13 Zhongke Road Station)
Job Responsibilities:
* Deep involvement in empirical/experimental research on the psychology of judgment & decision making, and the psychology of creative behaviors and problem-solving.
* Deep involvement in the classroom teaching practices
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology or other behavioral-science based disciplines (e.g., marketing, management, human resources, etc.);
* Interest in pursuing advanced degrees in various areas related to behavioral sciences;
* Experience in drafting papers and making presentations in English;
* Familiarity with experimental methodology and multivariate statistics;
* Familiarity with common statistical software;
* Ability to support professors in administration duties;
* Responsible, outgoing, & resilient
Annual salary starts from RMB 75K for full-time RAs with a Bachelor’s degree and from RMB 95K for RAs with a Master’s degree. Salary for part-time RAs is commensurate with experience and commitment. This position would be an excellent fit for someone looking to strengthen research skills before applying to graduate schools. Past RAs of the Lab have been admitted to top international Ph.D. programs.
