well, the problem is that the passage doesn't give any indication of how many TNHS graduates actually apply to ivy league schools. in fact, even if none of TNHS's graduates applied to ivy league schools, that is still perfectly consistent with the information presented in the passage.

so, let's say that only 1 graduate of TNHS applied to an ivy league school. while it's more likely than not that this student would be accepted, there's a decent chance that (s)he wouldn't be - and that's enough to shoot down choice (d), because it contradicts the definitive language of (d). in other words, we can't be 100% sure that at least one applicant has been accepted.
were choice (d) to make a slightly weaker statement, such as 'it is very likely that...', that would be another story - but, unfortunately, it doesn't say that.

choice (c), on the other hand, makes a very weak, anodyne statement (it is possible...), so it's very easily supported by the content of the passage.

-Must Be True题型
-做题重点
Must Be True题型的正确答案一定遵循Fact Test（正确答案永远可以被stimulus当中的事实所证明）
可以用stimulus给的范围来排除一些范围之外的答案
通常Must Be True不包含结论，只是一顿事实罗列
正确大答案往往是：原文部分的改写或包含了原文中一个或多个陈列的事实
错误答案：可能正确——通常用部分原文信息推断出一个原文不支持的且超出范围的答案，可能发生也可能不会发生；新信息答案——不是原文所给的信息，要小心new info是否为原文几个事实可以推出的结果；贝壳游戏答案——很吸引人因为是原文观点的改写，但是一定错误的改写了某个地方；与原文相反答案；Reverse答案——重新安排了原文的事实来创造一个新的原文不支持的statement
总结：
破题的重点还是掌握数字问题的易错点，比如关于如果只知道百分数，就不要涉及具体的数字或者总数，唯一的C选型当时在选择的时候也有一点疑惑，但是可以通过简单的带入数字进行测试。
-Main Point题型
-做题重点：（1）Main Point题型的答案一定是题目中总结的作者观点，读到question stem的时候就应该知道答案（预测+记忆内容）；
（2）正确答案一定是stimulus当中给出信息进行推断的，不要选择无关信息；（3）错误答案可能可以从stimulus中推出来，但是绝对不是作者的观点；也有可能是重复前提
（4）Main Point 一定有argument，所以正确答案可能是对stimulus结论的改写
总结
-这种题非常容易被绕进去，我觉得做题的关键就是先罗列出已知条件，然后寻找答案中的条件是否满足已知条件，以及根据这些答案中条件推测出的结论是否与stimulus中的已知条件矛盾。如：已知从TNHS毕业的学生一定是：智商高于120；常青藤录取标准：多数智商超过120，全部智商超过150且申请常青藤的学生——一定有其中一所常青藤录取。A选项错误——没有满足已知中的“申请常青藤”，但是结论却是可以被录取。B选项错误——智商低于100只能说不是TNHS的毕业生，但不能说不是TNHS的学生（这里用student at TNHS 和high-school graduate 玩文字游戏），这个智商低于100的同学可能是TNHS的学生，只要不在TNHS毕业就可以——原文可以推出和B不一样的答案所以B是Could be ture；D答案——没有满足原文中常春藤录取的要求：大部分智商120以上，和全部智商150以上，虽然大部分智商120以上同学被录取，很有也有可能TNHS高中没有智商超过150且是不被录取的少部分智商120的同学。——could be true;E---可能申请了没去
-这种题的做题感觉就是看答案是不是could be ture，因为main point是must be true 的变形题目，main point 一定是stimulus当中信息推出来在任何情况都正确的结论，所以如果出现could be true就一定是错误的。could be ture 答案可以通过证明原文可以推出另外一种可能性证明。

A.对新来的人的饮食偏好作出判断，题目中没有区分新来的人和原住人口的饮食偏好。
B.这个2倍是增加量而不是消耗量。
C.人均poultry consumption增加，因为人增加了6%，poultry consumption增加了9%，正确。
D.鱼和猪肉制品是占据significant的比例，这个题目中没有暗示，有可能这两种原来的比例都很低。
E.和profits无关。

2 前提：
TNHS毕业：IQ>120
Most IQ >120& all IQ >150 申请ILU，被录取
（注意并不知道TNHS毕业的人会不会申请ILU，也许一个人都没有）
A.也许没有申请ILU，错误
B.这个high school graduate不是从TNHS毕业的，但是有可能曾经是这里的学生，只是没有从TNHS毕业
C.这个是可能的，满足题目中的条件，正确。
D.也许TNHS毕业的人都没有申请ILU
E.只是没有attending，并不一定没有被accepted。
