Disclaimer：仅针对商学院项目（MIT ORC例外），忽略顶尖工学院项目，仅供参考。如placement详细信息不宜集中展示，烦请版主告知。
My two cents:
1. 近年来OM专业面临的外部挑战越来越激烈，做modeling或ML相关可能分别要和IEOR，EECS竞争（典型例子：Cornell ORIE, Gatech ISyE, Cornell CS......），做empirical要和top Econ program竞争，可以说毕业时能去peer school已经很不容易了。但与此同时，个人感觉OM是商学院目前最interdisciplinary的专业之一，未来的机会与可能性还有很多；
2. OM作为商学院最hardcore的专业之一，努力提高理论水平与实操能力，毕业去业界也不失为另一种选择。

这些个能进任意一个就是祖坟冒青烟
管他是第5名还是第15名
就像世界名校排名，中国人那么爱看，跟几个中国人有关系，top 10， tp 20， top 100有几个中国人能进，你身边认识的人又有几个能进

这些学校申请难度确实比较大，但也至于到祖坟冒青烟的难度。
小朋友们去duke等不错的硕士项目，多努力多规划，进到上述一个项目还是有不小希望的。（肯定也得靠运气就是了
如果你自己第一步就否定了自己，那确实基本都会失败。

我也说得是PhD项目啊。。。我自己今年就申请了b school PhD，不是om就是了。我是说读跳板硕士+ft RA路线再申请商学院PhD，申到不错的商学院PhD项目有不小的可能。

MKT CB比OM总体上更难了，ACCT和MKT Quant最近几年也有点下滑趋势了，但总体上外部压力确实没OM大（部分Econ PhD可能也会去Quant找教职）。Barrier短期对市场有一定的保护作用，但长期来看也会限制学科发展。其实OM PhD也许有可能上IS的market，借下business analytics的东风

求问下加拿大的情况Ubc,McGill Toronto Rotman 谢谢！Mcgill近几年进了不少老师 感觉师资和发表都很不错，但OM查不到什么placement的信息。。求教下各位大神 谢谢！

UBC Sauder和UT Rotman的placement在官网上都有，仔细找找还是找得到的，McGill这几年招了很多出色的faculty所以还没有太多新的placement数据

Lijian Lu是Columbia的，现在在HKUST，double counting了. USC统计比较不全，缺少Heng Zhang, ASU; 然后建议哪位好心人把几个重要的IEOR项目（e.g., Stanford, Columbia, Cornell, Georgia Tech）也写出来？

我也发一个广告。
