39. Generally, Abstract Expressionist art is without recognizable images and does not adhere the Limits of conventional form.

关于这两道题都有does的用法上面和结构填空题材不能选A是因为动词DOES与比较级前半部分系词不一致。但为何下面的改错题中的does可以用呢？因为这道题是错在adhere to the而不does上。

所以请教高手解答！

--> the two main verbs here are: is and adhere,

if "adhere" is going to be in negative form, use "does not" and is different from Q6,
