A、as much as 20 percent more hours per month than pilots at larger airlines fly, with the consequence that
B、as many as 20 percent more hours per month as pilots at larger airlines, and
C、more hours per month, as much as 20 percent, than pilots at larger airlines; consequently
D、as much as 20 percent more hours per month as larger airlines' pilots, so
E、as many as 20 percent more hours per month than pilots at larger airlines do, and consequently

答案：E
我选了C，感觉consequently和and连接有点奇怪，而且有一些as 20 percent hours per month感觉有些奇怪。
两个问题.
1.E选项的as many as 20 percent more hours有歧义，划分不一样，意思就会不一样。到底是“as many as 20%/more hours”(A比B多了20%的hours)，还是“A as many as 20% more/hours”(A比B多了百分之二十多的时间)。我选择C是因为感觉不会有歧义，“as much as 20 percent”不会造成歧义。2.这道题目的than pilots "do"的do是否能省略呢？

第二个不能省，省略就可能是pilot和hours在比较

感谢，我这边重新编辑组织了一下我的语言，请看一下1楼。
至于语言的省略问题，为什么有的并列结构就可以省略后面的动词呢？

在没有歧义的情况下就可以省略，存在歧义的时候就不要省略。其实省略还是不省略都是比出来的，看选项还有没有其他问题，最后综合考虑选最优

这个题我其实也没太明白，但关于as much as还是as many as,曼哈顿论坛上有个帖子是说这个题主要讨论的对象是“hours”的多少而不是20 percent，尽管20 percent不可数，但是hours可数，所以用as many as原链接：https://www.manhattanprep.com/gmat/forums/as-much-as-vs-as-many-as-t34918.html
（只可惜Ron不能讲OG的题目，很多题都不能很透彻地理解.....）
