我不知道我对知识点的理解对不对，还望大家说一说自己的解题思路。

“因果和相关”的知识点。在语法精讲的一本书中有这样一道例题:

Because an oversupply of computer chips has sent prices plunging，the manufacturer has announced that it will cut production by closing its factories for two days a month.

（A） Because an oversupply of computer chips has sent prices plunging

（B） Because computer chip prices have been sent plunging when the oversupply occurs

A: oversupply 使 price 下降

B: 当oversupply 发生，price 下降

A 中动词sent的逻辑论元是 an oversupply of computer chips 以及 prices 表示因果

B 中 oversupply是状语从句，即附加语。附加语与主句剩余部分为巧合关系。并且 B 这句话的动词sent，逻辑论元只有computer chip prices与同时有两个逻辑论元的A选项相比，范畴更广，不确定性更多。

根据为划线句子得知，厂商希望通过关闭工厂来解决价格下跌的问题。关闭工厂是为了解决oversupply的问题。那么必须让oversupply和价格下跌有因果关系，不然整句话的因果关系不成立。换句话说，如果停止oversupply不能缓解价格下跌的问题，那么厂商为什么要关闭工厂解决oversupply的问题。
