一道有很多很多知识点的题目。、
首先equally likely to和equally likely that都是存在的，不能简单的idiom排除。
一个一个选项来看的话：
选项A在as后面没有补出必要的they are而是直接跟上了the current one。来看两个句子：
I love my girlfriend more than my friend. - 错误 原因在于你搞不清这句句子想要表达的是我喜欢女朋友比我喜欢我的朋友多，还是我喜欢我的女朋友比我朋友喜欢我女朋友多（
）
I love my girlfriend more than I love my friend. -正确
为了让句子意思传达清楚，这里必须补充主语和动词。动词必须和之前的be likely to do平行，因此是are
A选项还犯了一个错误，我们在选项B里面一起看
选项B补出了主语和谓语，但是和A一样缺乏了前面的As。 as...as的比较结构在这里是必须的
选项C和选项D没有补充主语和谓语。除此之外，他们还将一个句子（that they will exceed the proposed speed limit ）和一个名词（ the current one）比较，错误。
选项E是最佳的答案

我也来尝试解释下.当读到‘ equallly likely to 应该想到这个是个比较两个事物。
但是current one 指代不清。
据此A 一定有问题。
在读一下原文。比较的是driver 在proposed space limit 和current space limit 下超速的可能能。
选E 。

官員認為就算訂定了新的道路限速，駕駛們還是和以前一樣很可能會超速。
1. as ... as.. 類比句型刪ＡＢＣ
2. 實主詞＋be likely to V ；虛主詞＋be likely that S. V.，刪Ｄ
3. 確認Ｅ選項：
Traffic safety officials predict that drivers will be as likely to exceed the proposed speed limit as they are (likely to exceed) the current one(=speed limit).
補充：
current one 前面能指代的單數名詞只有speed limit，沒有其他單數名詞能指代，故沒有指代不清。
