答案是B, 为什么D不行呢？prefer... to... 不是固定搭配么，在字典里没查到prefer over 的搭配啊。谢谢指正！

prefer to 恰恰就是D的错误之处，原句意思应该是others 和some litigants相对应

而prefer to 将another与status 想对应，改变了句仪

此处prefered是形容词,修饰status,并不是prefer（verb）...to 结构

是定语从句的省略形式。 status（that is) preferred to another-----> 所以还是 preder to 结构。

这题的错误，正如4F所说。

prefer to 关联错了对象。

原本想说，一些被告比另外一些被告牛。现在成了一些被告的状态比另外一些被告牛
