答案我是选对了的，但是不是很理解D的具体错法还请大神们解惑！我看官方解释说的in having nersts会让人误会是raider ants而不是 other ants在地下筑巢，这是怎么判断出来的呢？

我的个人看法是：A unlike B in doing sth，是说A和在doing某事的时候和B不一样，但是因为这里题意说的raider ants不这么做，只有other ants会这么做，所以导致了语意模糊？

D. 你看 unlike X and Y， in having nests ..., raider ants ... 这表达里，in having nest ... 的部分到底是修饰前面的 X and Y, 还是修饰正文主语的 raider ants 呢？有修饰不明确的嫌疑。

就是夹心修饰的感觉么，A,modifier,B这样在modifier前面如果没啥特别标志的词或者标点把它隔开，就前后都有可能是被修饰对象所以模糊了。但是我又在想，in having前面没有逗号但是raider之前有逗号的话，会不会就算是把前后隔开了呢，就是 unlike X AND Y in doing sth, Z ...还是说这样in doing 这个修饰还是模糊呢~

就近修饰，不产生歧义的原则。
Unlike A and B doing sth., C ...
这里面是 B doing sth, 还是 A doing sth. 呢？

我对这道题目的理解可能比较小白，供楼主参考。
这道题目，首先可以明显排除ABE选项。那剩下的CD选项，根据句意，明显无论是C还是D, 后面的成份都可以理解为做modifier. 那基于这点，D选项应该是现在分词直接修饰前面的x and y, 现在分词做modifier，前面不用加任何介词的吧，没有这样的表述。
