Congratulations on your acceptance to two great schools! While UT McCombs is generally more highly-ranked than the University of Melbourne, you may have other considerations at play. Your $50K tuition scholarship at Melbourne could become the deciding factor, if that makes this schools much less expensive all-in than McCombs (it probably does, especially if you will be categorized as an "international student" at McCombis since tuition prices are higher there for international students).
Another consideration is industry and preferred exit geography. If you know you want to be in the U.S. post-MBA, UT would probably offer better US-centric recruiting. Conversely, University of Melbourne would probably offer much better opportunities to recruit for positions in Australia. McCombs, due to its location in Texas, is especially strong for tech and oil & gas recruiting in the U.S. and the Middle East, if that's important to you. It's widely acknowledged that If you want to work in O&G in Houston or Dallas, a McCombs MBA and McCombs network is probably stronger than Harvard/Wharton/Stanford.
