I'm sorry you were waitlisted - but don't lose hope! We have clients get off the waitlist every year.
You should research Imperial College's policies to make sure you are following directions with regard to supplemental waitlist material. Some schools allow you to submit additional materials for consideration (e.g., an updated resume reflecting a promotion at work, an update email explaining a recent raise, expanded job responsibility, a higher GMAT score, basically anything that shows enhanced competitiveness since you last applied). Other schools explicitly request that you not send anything. If the latter is the case, you want to make sure that you are not sending anything because you don't want to seem like you aren't following directions. For Imperial College (https://www.imperial.ac.uk/business-school/programmes/msc-international-management/) I didn't find anything on their website offhand about what you can and can't submit re waitlist consideration on their website, but you can call or email the adcom to find out if you are allowed to submit additional materials. Sometimes the AdCom says what you are allowed to do re waitlist supplements in the waitlist letter itself - you should also check there.
