D中的watching如果认为是与living并列，而且省略he was，则必须要在前面补出and,因为是个句子，必须有连接词，没有AND，说明是分词修饰，所以facing 应是分词，其前面的and 是因为最后一个并列对象必须有and。不过，这题最好还是从逻辑意思上讲，分词更符合句子结构。
