as subejct

Hey there,
It is unclear to which type of graduate program you are applying. If you are applying to top-tier American and European MBA programs, typically recommendations are requested from *professional* connections (e.g, direct managers to whom you have a reporting relationship, people who are senior to you but not necessarily your manager, executives who have seen your work who are more senior to your manager, etc.). If you are applying to MBA programs, the Admissions committees at these schools will expect the recommendations to be from professional contacts rather than academic ones and you certainly won't be penalized for *not* submitting academic LORs.

That said, some applicants who don't have much work experience (for instance, they are applying to b-school right after medical school or law school) will opt to send LOR from professors, but this is mostly a function of these particular applicants not having enough work experience to send professionally-oriented LOR. If you have years of work experience (which it sounds like you do), you won't need academic LORs for MBA programs.

Best,
Raj Patil
