We deeply discourage Round 3 applications. A R1 or R2 application the following application cycle is almost always better than rushing to get in Round 3. Almost every school has grossly lower acceptances for R3 vs. R1 & R2. Applying R3 will also give you time to come up with good strategic positioning, as your GMAT of 600 is going to be on the low end for the schools that you mentioned. Applying R3 would ALSO allow you to raise your TOEFL and GMAT scores (alternatively, it could allow you to try to attempt the GRE, which many schools also accept in lieu of the GMAT, including the 3 schools you mention here - Boston College, Babson College, University of Maryland - College Park).

Giving yourself the time to try to earn a better GMAT or GRE score will be worth your while, because I'm afraid you may have a hard time at the top 50 schools you listed with a 600 GMAT. With a higher GMAT/GRE score, you may be able to apply to scores that don't require the TOEFL (like RSM). Then there are schools that do require the TOEFL but have a lower admitted score than those with the 100 TOEFL floor like BYU Marriot, Arizona State Carey and Boston University (you seemed to have a penchant for the Boston area since 2/3 of your school choices where Boston metro).

I've never worked with a Chinese applicant who majored in German before. I sense there could be a neat & unique strategic positioning there for your over-reprented demographic. Remember, strategic positioning is arguable MORE important than GMAT or TOEFL (which are more barriers to entry while the strategic positioning separates the wheat from the chaff).

Good luck,
Raj Patil
