这里的 uncovering不应该有逻辑主语吗？？逻辑主语是ice cap？感觉不通啊。。

,ing修饰整个前句表结果，可以不需要逻辑主语。整个前句看作主语

谢谢回复呀意思是-ing放在结尾时是结果状语从句不需要逻辑主语吗，还是-ing放在结尾时都不需要逻辑主语呢，比如表示伴随的话呢
