各位大神好，今天做到一个题，是这样的

Prices at the producer level are only 1.3percent higher now than a year ago and are going down, even though floods inthe Midwest and drought in the South are hurting crops and therefore raisedcorn and soybean prices.

A thana year ago and are going down, even though floods in the Midwest and drought inthe South are hurting crops and therefore raised

B than those of a year ago and are going down, eventhough floods in the Midwest and drought in the South are hurting crops andtherefore raising

这里我用时态的方法判断出了第二局应该比第一句好，但是选项前面你们认为是正确的结构吗？

一些网友觉得A中的比较对象有问题，即prices和in a year对比，

但我认为没有问题啊,因为than后面是一个时间状语，与前面的now相比就ok了，我看网上有一些分歧，想在这里请教一下各位，谢谢

A选项应该是therefore raised 出问题了，正在发生的事情导致了过去的事情。
逻辑上说不通！
