IBEAR MBAProgram Features

The IBEAR MBA is a full-time, 1-year MBA (June to June) formid-career professionals seeking leadership roles in internationalbusiness. 12-month immersion of 56 units across six terms with 56 mid-careerprofessionals. The bios for the IBEAR MBA 42 class areavailable at: https://tinyurl.com/ibear42bios. These provide a goodunderstanding of the diversity and experience of a typical IBEAR MBA class. International Business Consulting Projects. Thisis IBEAR’s capstone course. Over a 4-month period, teams of 5-6 students workwith a client to develop proprietary recommendations for one of its importantbusiness challenges. International Experiential Learning Program (IELP). This is a required 10-day component of theIBEAR MBA PROGRAM. IBEAR students pay the same $3,400 IELP fee as Marshall’sother MBA students pay for their experiential learning trips. In 2019, the I-42program, titled “Doing Business in China,” will take the class to Shanghai andShenzhen, China, the same as the 2018 program https://ibear-ielp.net/2018-schedule/. Career Exploration Treks to San Francisco/Silicon Valley and toSeattle. These experiential learning programs provide sponsored andself-sponsored studentswith opportunities to visit Fortune 500 companies, meet senior businessleaders, and network with IBEAR and Marshall alumni. Personalized Career Development Services. IBEAR’s dedicated Career Advisor provideshighly personalized coaching and support to the 35 – 40 self-sponsored students to help them identify and achievetheir career objectives. This support, which is tailored to the unique needs ofmid-career international professionals, includes a broad range of careerdevelopment workshops, networking opportunities, and “career-capture”activities. Leadership & Executive Development Programs. Programs include career developmentskill-building seminars, as well as executive speakers and roundtablediscussions. Scholarships. IBEAR MBA Global Business Fellows Awards of up to $50,000to self-sponsored students.
