标题: 请问 ”表示单位的名词“ 用不可数名词修辞结构还是可数名词修辞结构？ [打印本页]

标题: 请问 ”表示单位的名词“ 用不可数名词修辞结构还是可数名词修辞结构？

修饰可数名词用：many, few, number of, numerous, more,

修饰不可数名词用：much, little, less, least, amount of, great, greater

即可以修饰可数名词又可以修饰不可数名词：more, most, enough, all

我想请问一下 “表示单位的名词” 是用不可数修辞结构来修饰还是可数名词修辞结构来修饰？？

我之前记得是用不可数名词修辞结构来修饰“表示单位的名词” 例子： Less than $20 dollars

OG一道题中，用 as many as 来修饰 hours，给我搞糊涂了，有明白的小伙伴能来解释一下吗？？谢谢~~

我看到外网有一位 GMAT instructor 对于这道题 as many as 的解释是修饰 hours:

原话：
as much as = non-countable nouns & percentages
as many as = countable nouns
We can eliminate options A, C, & D because they don't use the correct "as many as" to refer to "hours," which are countable.

没有错，as many as接可数名词；as much as 接不可数名词；单独的量词只用“twice”

例子：

1.less than $20 dollars 这里less修饰不可数名词

2. as many as ... hours 这里as many as 修饰可数名词

遇到了一样的问题，一头雾水~
不过我觉得这个考点应该属于有争议的小split，只能把握其他主干错误，然记忆一下OG曾经认可hour可数（卑微。。。）
