标题: 超混乱选校大纠结
本来已经预约了美签打算去osu了，爱丁堡突然的offer又带来小纠结

1.俄亥俄州立金融硕课程设置扎实全面四个方向文理结合 stem 校友资源很不错往届留美也还可以但最近中美关系持续恶化，有点担心留美工作可能几乎为0 回国的话纵排大体是世界70左右有点吃亏但之前为了osu抛弃了 jhu wustl gmf 哥大sps 不舍放弃

3.爱丁堡or with risk 专业数理扎实在金融就业越来越难下可能是一个不错的选择但本科金融担心学了以后会变成商科加数理都不精通的半吊子，以及英硕真的没有美硕吃香么，但综排真的很好看

Please 各位大神给出建议

英硕不如美硕是建立在两者的世界排名差不多的前提下，爱丁堡的世界排名20+，那同等的NYU，西北，杜克这些认可度当然大于爱丁堡。但是俄州州立。。。说实话我不觉得有HR能听说过，至少爱丁堡还算一个“名校”吧，既然都是要回国了，倒不如选择名气和知名度都更高的爱丁堡

以及我不是特别理解为什么lz要为了osu放弃wustl，哥大和JHU那两个项目水也就罢了，wustl不管是BA还是金融都是挺不错的（难道是因为录的track不是stem嘛），排名知名度也比osu高很多，，

不全是，我可能会比较一下edinburgh和WUSTL，但是WUSTL在我这里优先级一定大过OSU

Jhu口碑不是太好，wustl感觉学的时间有点短，中间要出去交换，连opt也没有，osu商学院不是排名还挺高的呢，加上stem，就当时这么选了

啊？为什么会没有opt啊？不是所有的毕业生都会有吗？什么情况下会没有opt，求科普（你说没有指的是opt只有1年，还是根本没有opt，毕业必须马上回国？）

那您觉得美国国内综排回国有参考意义么，比如ur bran这种，世排不好的，特别是后者，像umd osu勉强也能算世界前一百，很多美国国内排名很好的wfu case这样您觉得回国是什么光景

谢谢您的建议，wustl的gmf算是top20，您之前觉得爱丁堡更合适，是因为但gmf他的问题是学习时间短，性价比不高是么，我听以前的学姐说osu的金融留美率还不错，去年可能有个百分之40的比率，但今后是不是会越来越差，甚至几乎不可能？

Congrats on your offers! One is not necessarily better than the other but if you go to a UK school you will likely find a stronger European-alumni network (and more Europe and UK focused recruiting activity at the school) whereas if you go to a US school both of those will be more weighted towards the US. You can confirm that by looking at alumni data for each program (the adcom can provide it) to see alumni tend to be in locations and at companies where you are interested in working and being based.
