我的理解是：这个题的researchers discovered的应该在句首，鸟的 can remember 和tends 应该平行。highlight部分是定语修饰吧，至于to have rotted我也不是很清楚

看了kkk上面一个同学的翻译，不知道对你有没有帮助~一只林鸟能记住当它藏了食物到一个特定的地点，（科学家发现），并且倾向于不去重新拿那个易腐烂的食物，（当这种食物）被放置足够久以致于已经腐烂。
