标题: 一道语法题，特别困惑，希望大神一定帮帮小白啊t.t

在做manhattan的时候每章节后面都有problem set，第二章后面的第四题是给了两个句子（说这两个句子的意思不一样，有歧义）

1. She is the most dedicated gardener on the block, watering the more than 50 plants in her yard every day.

2. She is the most dedicated gardener on the block, watering more than the 50 plants in her yard every day.

这两个句子因为more than 到底有什么不一样，大家又是如何从语法和meaning的角度分析的呢？

第一句意思是灌溉超过50棵植物，可能是60棵或者70棵；第二句意思是不止灌溉她院子里的50棵植物，还灌溉隔壁邻居的植物。

主要是the定冠词的意思

第一句：the more than 50 plants in her yard
她院子里的植物超过了50颗，她浇的是她院子里的超过50颗的植物

第二句：more than the 50 plants in her yard
她院子里的植物不多不少就是50颗，她浇的不止是她自己院子里的50颗植物，还有邻居的
