This question is asking for a best explanation why the sales revenue dropped not profit. Two problems with question A, one is the new concept Advertising, which is not mentioned in the question. Another problem is high Ad cost only impact the profit margin not overall sales revenue.

With the choices above, only C shows a good reason for revenue drop due to the slow sales of other electronics parts.

do you mean that 1.the increasing sales revenue earned by D did not make up the its loses in selling its electronics components? 2.revenue is not affected by the ad. cost, which only impacts on a company's profit?
