标题: 求教在申请过程中换工作会加分还是减分？ [打印本页]

标题: 求教在申请过程中换工作会加分还是减分？
作为一名大龄申请者，目前已经有9年工作经验，两份工作均在较知名外企，现在在准备2019年北美的MBA的申请。以上是背景。最近刚刚收到一份新的工作offer，职位和现在持平，但是行业较好，薪资也有较高涨幅。

因为当前的目标还是尽可能申请一个更好的学校，希望得到建议：
1）在这个节点上换一份新工作对于申请会加分还是减分。
2）如果在接下来1-2个月入职，在R1 R2的简历申请中是否可以不体现？是否会被学校认为有ethical的问题？

还没入职的话肯定没法体现，可以拿到offer后再告知学校
换一份新工作如果对于goal有帮助肯定是加分，但总体来说会让学校更难理解你的path

Thank you! If it is a job that doesn't help you with your post MBA job, then I wouldn't change. You have to be honest on the application so yes, you would have to disclose it. They can find out I'm sure. So do what's best for you personally as you can always explain in an optional essay, but ultimately, your work experience should prepare you a bit for your next job after MBA. Good luck!
