我能排除A C E
忽略transform主被动的问题
感觉B的表达确实好 an era作from 1973 to 1993的同位语
但纠结D的during which era的表达 which era指代from 1973 to 1993想问这种表达不可以么求NN们指点！

自己总结一下：
DE选项错在which只能指代物，不能指代from 1973 to 1993这个时间段。

D. during which era the city transformed

这个which没有指代。 from 1973 to 1993 虽然意思上来说，我们会去脑补这就是一个era。但是事实上，没有人提过from 1973 to 1993 = era。from 1973 to 1993充其量只是一段时间。所以during which，别人就不知道which指的是什么了。
