标题: OG18 554 逻辑提CR提问
Archaeologists use technology to analyze ancient sites. It is likely that this technology will advance considerably in the near

risk contaminating or compromising them for future studies. Therefore, in order to maximize the potential for gathering
knowledge in the long run, a team of archaeologists plans to delay the examination of a newly excavated site.

我的问题：为什么B选项是redundant 的（根据og解释）？？（现在懂了）
我的理解：A选项，“是否the site是 deteriorate”，影响了收集信息的最大化、推迟新的地点的开发。。
B选项，“是否相关科技会持续发展”，对现在推迟新地点的开发没有影响，因为本身就是因为目前科技没有开发出来，而推迟了新地点的挖掘。

心路历程：很玄学，最开始我看不懂为什么B选项是redundant的，在CD敲出我的问题及理解的时候，突然明白了相关科技是否会持续发展与结论无关。感谢CD、感谢小安、感谢toilet time（哈哈，上了个厕所回来以后突然顿悟了B选项）

我感觉B选项的redundancy在于它提到的whether是文章已经明确表态的内容，文章第二句话已经说了，It is likely that this technology will advance considerably in the near future, allowing archaeologists to...

所以至少再foreseeable future，不用担心科技进步是否停滞的问题。

至于是否再往后很多很多年，科技真的停滞发展了，那文章提及的newly excavated site 应该也已经研究完毕了。
