标题: 一道老题了有查不着的疑惑点~请nn相助！！
Along with the drop in producer prices announced yesterday, the strong retail sales figures released today seem like it is indicative that the economy, although growing slowly, is not nearing a recession.

(A) like it is indicative that
(B) as if to indicate
(C) to indicate that
(D) indicative of
(E) like an indication of
答案是 C ，

疑惑：A 为什么不能对？ it 如果不是代词而是作为形式宾语引导后面的句子： it is indicative that the economy is not nearing a recession. 这样为啥不对？？？

翻遍资料没有关于如上疑惑的解释~~有大佬帮帮忙吗~~~~
（ps it做代词肯定不能指代salse figures这个明白的）

曼哈顿P239有seem的用法
seem like+n本身就是一个suspect的用法；加句子就错了

BTW：这道题选C吧？

找到了seem用法啦，贴上seem用法对比：
RIGHT: This result SEEMS TO DEMONSTRATE the new theory.
IT SEEMS THAT this result DEMONSTRATES the new theory.
IT SEEMS AS IF this result DEMONSTRATES the new theory.

SUSPECT: This result SEEMS LIKE A DEMONSTRATION OF the new theory.

WRONG: This result SEEMS LIKE IT DEMONSTRATES the new theory.
