这题以前讨论过,但有个问题在前面的讨论中没有提及.

对于D,大家的讨论是"

D中的逻辑表达实在是不符合语法习惯（不够简洁），看着就痛苦；

", 可我选的就是D.

请问有Doing sth is the reason that 这种用法吗？还是Doing sth is the reason why呢？

如果有这样的用法，那么D错在哪里呢？

我没觉得怎么晕,是因为现在习惯了ETS那些长长的句子,所以一读就抓主干,也就不觉得长了.

读D的时候,我首先读到的是sth was the reason that....

这个结构正确吗？

另外，楼上说的“改变句子重心”，我觉得好难把握，因为只是将位置前后换了一下呀。

能够明示给我吗？

Very reluctant to have any extra weight on his plane when he attempted his solo transatlantic flight, Charles Lindbergh--句子的意思在于强调CL拒绝carry mail这件事本身，于原文意思一致。

不知道我的解释对不对，你再考虑一下

我查了longman里面有the reason that也有the reason why的例句我认为D主要错在抓错句子主要叙述的内容了 D企图强调being very reluctant to carry是XXX的原因说的重点是being very reluctant to carry 然而原句本身最想说的是给出Charles的一些情况如very reluctant怎样怎样，重点在he refused to do上面

D错在改变句子重心上
