A错误在于主谓不一致。nevertheless creating sounds: a complicated system of whistles, squeaks, moans, trills, and clicks are produced by。。。。
a complicated system of whistles, squeaks, moans, trills, and clicks的中心词是a system，所以谓语动词要用单数
B中的they可以指代海豚，复数指代正确。

but nevertheless 是有这种用法的。唯一不明白的是为什么是but nevertheless 后面用creating sounds,明显和lack vocal coards 不平行，应该用Dolphins lack vocal cords, (but) nevertheless creat sounds,...
